Canada is a paradise for anglers. Each region specializes in something different - from the Arctic trout in the Northwest Territories after the ocean salmon in British Columbia.

Excellent fisheries are almost everywhere - in the countless lakes, rivers and coastal waters. In almost every town is a fishing shop nearby, where the majority of fisheries, rental companies operate boats and organizing expeditions. Almost all the provinces appear to handbooks on fisheries and species of fish caught. In the various provinces have different rules. At first glance, appear to be complicated, but usually when foreigners come down to having a license - one for fishing in fresh water, the second half of the sea.

Can be purchased on the spot in most shops and sport fishing for about C $ 30 (valid for one year). Some provinces also appear to permit short-term (for 1 or 6 days). In some places, you must purchase a license to fish for specific species in national parks - additional authorization. In the case of individual species may apply quantitative restrictions or seasons. With all the current rules we are familiar in the fishing shop and tourist information offices.
